Centennial Kennels is Hiring a Kennel Tech Near Maple Valley, WA
Centennial Kennels in Maple Valley, WA is looking for a kennel tech to join our team. We have a large dedicated customer base with many repeat clients. We really get to know the animals that stay with us. Our focus is on providing a fun, safe, and comfortable place for them to stay when their families are away from home.
The Kennel Tech position is a fun, rewarding, team oriented job, but be prepared to work hard and get dirty. You will be expected to work some weekends. You should expect to work most holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Spring Break, etc.
Responsibilities
- *Feeding Pets *Cleaning Kennel Areas *Scooping Poop (glamorous we know) *Providing activity time for pets, including walks, off leash play time and more. *Taking photos of pets for owners during their stay. *Updating data records on pets including amounts eaten etc.
Qualifications
- *A passion for animals is required. *Attention to detail is critical. *Must have reliable transportation *A desire to work hard and have fun.
No professional kennel experience needed. We can train the right person. We also have career advancement opportunities including training programs for Grooming, or Animal Behavior Specialist (Dog training). There also scholarship opportunities to pursue a career in animal medicine.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00 - $19.00/hour.
